Being a first time pet owner I was surprised at how antsy I was at leaving my 2 Chihuahuas in a kennel while I went on holidays for 2 weeks in February. I heard that Clinkers was a good place to leave your dogs. I went and had a look at the facility and was very impressed with the set up of the kennels, the cleanliness and the atmosphere of the family business. This will be the 3rd year that I will have left my babies at Clinkers and would not want to leave them anywhere else.

About Us

Larry and Lisa Ubels

Larry and Lisa moved to Central Alberta from the Lower Mainland to own and operate Clinkers Kennels. They have 3 children that are active in local sports such as Hockey, Soccer and Dance. As as family they also enjoy, dirt biking, riding horses and hiking. They are also very active in their Church as well as the community.

Although Lisa works the Kennel full time, the rest of the family is also involved. The kids and Larry help on the weekends as well as after schools. The whole family loves animals and have a passion for all dogs.

Lisa puts it this way, "this is the only job where you are openly appreciated daily, I love my job!"
